Tiny pieces of heaven float before me
If only I could capture one and relax with it in eternity
Poems
Heaven’s Roof
I see the stain on heaven’s roof
Oh stained glass window tell the truth
Horde of the Louse
And on the first day
the Horde of the Louse said,
“let there be Light.”
And lo there was light
and the Louse was hit …
He who Larfs
He who larfs larf, larfs larfly
He who goofs and runs away,
lives to goof another day…
At the Sunny Gate
I stood at the sunny gate surveying summer’s haze
Beyond in the fields afar lay long lost love ablaze
As the Birds that Call
To be as happy as the birds that call
To be as free and sing and fly
And never fall from perch or tree
To Take My Ease
To take my ease upon the grass
Amongst the trees and in the sun
Not caring how it’s going to end
Or how it had begun
Grass Rhymes
The grass rhymes with my wanderings
BLADES – which cannot be counted
Heinz Turkish Delight
Heinz Turkish delight, full of eastern perversion
Fry’s bangers and beans, fifty seventh inversion
Baked on Cadbury night, oh so fluffy and light
Walls sausage meat means, Bird’s Eye make their beans
Just Chatter
When we speak It’s just chatter
We often hear the things that don’t matter
When we’re silent our hearts go pitter-patter
And when we sleep our dreams get fatter
Music When We’re Talking
There is music when we’re talking
There are heavens when we meet
There is sunshine when we’re walking
And flowers at our feet
Even the Butterflies
All things that have passed
Like those magic moments where love is shared
Are like butterflies
Their lives seemed short when they are gone
But even the butterflies have eternity in their eyes
