Nothing To Say

by Dave Draper  ©  2001178 words

Don’t give me that superstition
Hocus-pocus, lame delusion
Get yourself some education
Or you and me got – nothing to say

If you believe in ghosts and demons
Goblins, supernatural beings
That mumbo junk from DARK old days
Then you and me got – nothing to say

We disagree so totally
Of one thing I am sure
If we cannot communicate
Why bother anymore?
Oh, no, no, no – no – NO –

Keep your Dark-age rules and ways
They’ve no place in life today
We’re chalk and cheese – just leave it, please
You and me got – nothing to say

I get my kicks from science fiction
Classic rock and things of vision
So far apart – light years away
You and me got – nothing to say

We disagree so utterly
Of one thing I am sure
Communication’s out for us
Don’t bother anymore!

Oh, no, no, no – no – NO –

You and me got – nothing to say

Nothing to say – nothing to say

Nothing – nothing – to say
