The third Acrylic Water-Colour representation in the mini series Deep Space Art, called Deep Space Station.
Once more I had great fun inventing Spaceship and Space Station designs and the star-studded, nebulous lanes of this space backdrop.
The freehand space landscaping is far better rendered than is the technical precision of the space hardware. That dish at the top of the station seems to have been knocked a bit awry by some wandering anomaly.
But then I’ll be replacing this image with a carefully retouched version in which the hardware will be shown a little less skewed than it is at present and with a far better, more symmetrical finish, which I have in fact, already completed.
Then, of course, I shall have to amend this text accordingly. Even as it is at present though, I’m quite pleased with the overall effect.
