Acrylic Water-Colour painting from a photo session of local landscape scenery, early Summer of 1982. Two photos were taken for this subject and taped together horizontally in a wide-angled panoramic display.
They are from a collection of outdoor landscape photos taken during 1982, 1983.
The view was taken from the north side of Lloyd park, [Ranmore and Grimwade Avenues] located near the borders of East and South Croydon. The trees at the peak of the hill as we look south, contain the copse where the oil pastel sketches of ‘Lloyd Park in twilight’ and ‘The Water Tower in Twilight’ were both made looking downslope towards a point between the west and southwest. ‘Winwood Cottage’, another pastel sketch shown under Landscapes on this website is hidden to the extreme left of this view, just out out of sight beyond the line of trees there.
The views are from my Portfolio of photographed artworks, taken by photographer Graham Warren.
